So...this would be my first blog post.  I have been thinking about doing one for years, and just haven't gotten around to it.  Then about 7 months ago when I was hired as Senior Pastor at Linton First Church of God I was going to start one called Small Church Pastor, but I didn't get around to it, and then my wife created a blog about being an Unconventional Pastor's Wife and I felt my blog plans had lost some steam.  I am now righting that wrong.

So...my first blog. This is a place for me to air my thoughts, and there will be no real barriers to where my thoughts may lead.  Some times I'll talk about what is going on in small c church, sometimes what is going on in big C Church, sometimes it will be what is happening at home, sometimes it might be a movie or music or book review, the way I spend most of my entertainment time.

So...my first blog.  I hope that the ride will be worth it for us all.  Hopefully my mind will be able to relay items of interest and insight, hopefully you will like what you find here, or at least find it mentally stimulating.

I am currently reading Along the Way by Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez on my Kindle
Most recently I watched Battleship in theaters and Beastly & the Way Back at home
I am currently obsessed with Train's new CD California 37 and can't wait until June 5th when the Rocket Summer's new album drops
